Lindsay Book was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1983. From an early age she was intrigued by observing people from a distance and particularly drawn to those who seemed "different".

Her Journey led her to a liberal arts college, but it soon became clear that this was not to be her path. After taking some time off to reassess the direction of her life, she moved onto The Art Institute of Boston uncovering a passion for photography. It was a perfect outlet for her creativity.

Graduating in 2007, Lindsay is pursuing a career in photography with the intention of capturing images which challenge people to see the world with a different perspective.

Lindsay is currently interning at the Photographic Resource Center while working part-time as a photographers assistant.
